Plastic Nurdle spill – Nurdles at Tung O Bay, Lamma Island, Hong Kong on 1 August 2012.

The following photographs are of Plastic Nurdles found on 1 August 2012 at Tung O Bay, Lamma Island, Hong Kong (Courtesy: Gary Stokes and Tracey Read). The Nurdles came from one of six containers containing Nurdles which were lost from a container ship during Typhoon Vicente:

    saw some Plastic Nurdle floating while windsurfing at Stanley Main Beach today, without bags....

    Hi there, might I know when will be the next cleanup for Lamma Island? My friends and I would like to help. Or if we go ourselves, which location should we focus on? Thanks!

      Unfortunately Tung O is still bad. If you can make it to there, that would be great. There is a cleanup every day there at the moment. Many thanks for your offer of support. It is much appreciated!
